The Man
Behind the Mic
From a passion to a profession. From a microphone to an experience.
A Journey That Started Before the Spotlight
My journey as an MC started long before it became a profession. From my secondary school days, I was drawn to the stage and naturally enjoyed entertaining people. At university, I found myself hosting more events, experimenting with my style and discovering just how much I enjoyed creating memorable experiences for people.
But everything changed in 2017.
While serving as a corps member in Katsina, I had the opportunity to host the wedding of a fellow corps member. What started as another opportunity to do what I loved became a defining moment in my career. The feedback was immediate. I began receiving enquiries from people who had experienced me at that wedding, and some of those enquiries turned into bookings.
That was the moment I realised this was more than something I enjoyed. It was a craft I could build a career around.

Years of Craft. A Lifetime of Dedication.
Over the years, I have continued to refine my craft through experience, professional training, continuous learning and working alongside some of the finest professionals in the events industry.
From intimate celebrations to grand weddings, corporate events, award ceremonies, dinners, red carpets and milestone celebrations, I have learned that exceptional hosting is not simply about speaking well.
It is about presence, preparation, timing, personality and the ability to read a room.
I understand that every event is different, every audience is different and every client has a different vision. So I do not bring a one-size-fits-all performance.
I bring a tailored experience.
My Role Goes Beyond Announcing the Next Item
I work with planners, vendors, families and event teams to ensure that the entire experience feels coordinated, engaging and effortless.
- I arrive prepared.
- I understand the programme.
- I respect the room.
- I collaborate with the team.
- And when the unexpected happens — as it often does at live events — I adapt.
“Premium hosting is not about being the loudest person in the room. It is about knowing exactly when your voice matters.”

Energetic. Sophisticated. Unforgettable.
I bring structure without making the event feel rigid.
I bring energy without overwhelming the occasion.
I bring personality without taking attention away from the people being celebrated.
Whether it is a wedding, corporate gathering, birthday, gala, church event, celebration of life or any occasion that deserves a professional host, my objective remains the same:
To make the event flow beautifully, keep the guests connected and create moments worth remembering.
This is the standard I have built my name around.
This is MC Kopsy.
The Cornucopian MC · Vibe · Voice · Versatility
The Man. The Scholar. The Leader. The Sportsman.
There is more to MC Kopsy than what happens on stage.
The Lifelong Learner
BSc Animal Production & Health (LAUTECH) · MSc Ruminant Production (FUNAAB) · PhD Researcher in Animal Science. For me, learning never stops.
People Before Self
Charter President, Rotary Club of Nigeria Next Generation. A Rotaractor who believes leadership is about openness, purpose and involvement.
Competition & Passion
A football lover and Manchester United fan. Sport teaches discipline, resilience, teamwork and the ability to keep going until the final whistle.
Hosting With Heart
These four worlds — academia, service, sport and hosting — may seem separate, but together they have shaped the person behind MC Kopsy.

Curiosity is the Engine. Growth is the Destination.
My academic journey began with a BSc in Animal Production and Health from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), followed by an MSc in Ruminant Production from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB).
Today, I am taking the journey further as a PhD researcher in Animal Science, deepening my knowledge and contributing to research in animal production.
For me, learning never stops. I believe the more you know, the more value you can create.
Leadership That Gives Back

My passion for people extends beyond events. I began my humanitarian and community-service journey as a Rotaractor at LAUTECH, where I discovered the fulfilment that comes from giving back and being part of something bigger than yourself.
Today, I am Charter President of the Rotary Club of Nigeria Next Generation, leading a team committed to service, community development and creating meaningful impact.
Leadership, for me, is not about the title. It is about openness, purpose and involvement.
Always Playing Until the Final Whistle

Sport has always been another important part of my life. I have participated in and achieved recognition through sporting activities, and my love for sports — particularly football — runs deep.
Football teaches many of the same lessons I value in life: teamwork, discipline, resilience, strategy and the ability to keep going until the final whistle.
And yes… I am proudly a Manchester United fan. Through the highs, the lows and the occasional test of patience, I remain a Red.

There Is Always More to a Person Than What You See Behind the Microphone
A professional who keeps learning.
A leader who believes in service.
A sportsman who loves competition.
And an MC who understands people.
Because there is always more to a person than what you see behind the microphone.
